A bit more information about what we will be up to.
Learning Group One: What Have We Been thinking!? Embracing Our Gifts, Rational AND Intuitive -:- Rhythm, Image, Metaphor and Dialogue
Remember this one? “I think, therefore, I am”- Rene Descartes.
In western society we have deferred to the transactional and rational at the expense of the relational and intuitional, dismissing “gut feelings”, felt sense, and a relational way of Being in the world for one that objectifies our fellow humans, and the environment with which we have been gifted, with some alarming results. A new way of thinking and Being has been re-emerging over the last few decades, one that embraces intuition as it honors the gifts of our rational mind. Let’s get into it!
Learning Group Two: How Wide is Your Window? The Observer we are and how we define our possibilities for action -:- Rhythm, Somatic, Dialogue
We live in stories, inside of stories, handed down from generation to generation; familial, societal, personal stories as invisible as the air we breathe, so they become beliefs, accepted wisdom, “common sense”. Many of these stories narrow our view of what is possible. They live in our bodies, our emotions, and our words. Time to get curious about this!
Learning Group Three: Sovereign, Lover, Warrior, Magician Who’s In Charge Here? -:- Rhythm, Dialogue
Most of us default to a “disposition” or attitude we live from and which we embody. Each has its value, but do we have accesses to them all? Which do you most easily assume and live from? Let’s play with them and explore ALL the possibilities!
